Celebrations and special occasions should always bring anticipated joy to all those participating , unfortunately the hosts ; whether it be a bride and groom , individual or business , often find themselves feeling overwhelmed by the many decisions and details that are required of hosting an event. At Joy of Life Events we have the knowledge , creativity and experience to turn any event into a joyful occasion for everyone.
Knowing that each event is unique and has it’s own special requirements I have created several plans. They can be customized to meet your needs. My services are also available on an hourly basis.

Consulting
~Discuss with each couple their desires and parameters including budget, style, location, size, important issues, family dynamics

Consulting, Design and Vision
~Work with each couple on all details pertaining to their wedding day
~Assist with location site for their ceremony and reception, with consideration to their budget and style
~Assist with selection of stationary and invitations that will set the tone for your wedding
~Assist with vendor selections that are consistent with wedding style and budget using expanded reference base
~Assist with linen and floral selections, as well as table decor and favors that are cohesive to wedding style
~Share selection of over a thousand linen choices, decor and favor ideas that are not available locally
~Assist with menu selection that compliments wedding style and budget,
~Share with you creative ways to show your personality
~Assist with etiquette and family dynamics
~Work with couple up to four weeks prior to ceremony
~ Three, 3-hour consultations plus research

Ceremony and Rehearsal
~Discuss with each couple details pertaining to their ceremony, meet at ceremony location if possible
~Organize and confirm all details with a time line of events
~Contact all professionals participating in ceremony to review contracts, discuss arrival times, attire and ceremony time-line
~Assist with directing ceremony rehearsal, direct flow of bridal party and review roles of participants
~Discuss details with officiant and musicians
~Gather items necessary for ceremony, examples are, candles, programs, music, runner, Brides personal items
~Arrive at church or location up to two hours prior to wedding
~Decorate ceremony location (up to two hours)
~Direct and assist all vendors and wedding party as they arrive and reaffirm wishes of the couple
~Assist with flower distribution, programs and reaffirm time line and responsibilities of ushers and bridal party
~Coordinate the ceremony procession
~Direct the ceremony
~Ceremony emergency kit
~Two, 2-hour consultations plus research, Up to 8-hours for rehearsal and ceremony

Reception
Up to four weeks prior to wedding
~Discuss with each couple details pertaining to reception, meet at reception location if possible
~Organize and confirm details and with time line of events. Offer professional suggestions for a cohesive event
~Contact all vendors participating in reception to discuss arrival times, contracted services and expectations, including attire, arrival times , and time line of event
~Prepare a detailed time-line and distribute to all vendors
~Develop seating chart and reception floor table configuration with couple with consideration to room flow, vendor requirements, facility restrictions and family dynamics
~Arrive at reception location up to two hours prior to reception
~Assist an Direct all vendors per couples wishes
~Assist with Reception Set-up and Decor, including table assignments
~Place table decor and favors per couples wishes
~Orchestrate reception so the couple along with their family and friends can truly enjoy themselves
~Assist with cake cutting and boxing of cake top if required
~Remain at reception location to gather couples personal items, cake top, decorations and gifts if required.
~ Up to 20 hours of combined consultation, coordination and Day-of Assistance


Start To Finish
With all "Start to Finish" packages 20 hours of service is reserved for the "week of" your wedding. All packages include the following

~Negotiate group rates
~Plan activities for out of town guests
~Assemble and delivery of gift baskets to out of town guests
~Make arrangements for rehearsal dinner
~Make arrangements for post wedding brunch
~Clean up and tear down of reception site
~Rental returns
